A portal where the client company handles the occupational health of its own workforce: referring workers for examinations, following the schedule, checking ASOs and their expiry dates, and managing its own financial relationship with the clinic. It has already processed more than 150,000 referrals.
The challenge
The people who hire an occupational health clinic are the HR department or the company's in-house safety team, and they spend the day fielding questions they have no way of answering: has so-and-so's examination expired? did the pre-employment certificate come through? where is last month's invoice? where is the payment slip? Before the portal, each of those questions became a phone call or an email to the clinic, and someone on the other side had to drop what they were doing to go and look. That cost shows up nowhere, but it is enormous on both sides.
The solution
.iASO gives the client its own front door. It refers the employee for examination directly through the system, picking from the hazard packages already configured in the contract, follows the status of the visit and receives the ASO as soon as it is ready. Access is tiered by profile: ordinary HR sees the ASO — the document that matters to them, fit or unfit. Companies with an in-house safety team, an occupational physician or an occupational health nurse also get access to the examinations and results, because they have someone qualified to read them. The portal also settles the financial side: the client sees invoices, tax documents and payment slips, downloads the breakdown in Excel and checks line by line what is being charged. When a new document is issued, the finance team is notified automatically over WhatsApp — and the worker themselves gets a notification to confirm their details before the visit. There are 28 modules, from data verification to the management of contracts, hazards and examination packages, all on the same domain core as AeroMeter — which guarantees that client and clinic are always looking at exactly the same data.
Results
More than 150,000 online referrals processed and almost 27,000 files attached by the clients themselves. Almost 60,000 companies registered with access to the portal, and over 6,000 user-to-company links, each with its own set of permissions.
