Solid experience in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and systems integration, with hands-on expertise in .NET, MAUI, Razor Pages, REST APIs, AWS, Docker, Java, JavaScript, WPF, and embedded systems with CAN Bus integrations. Experience leading technical teams, modernizing legacy platforms, building scalable cloud environments, and translating business needs into reliable enterprise applications. International experience in Brazil and the European Union.

A die-hard nerd: my projects have Star Wars names (this site runs on Obi-Wan and the database behind it is Tatooine), my bookshelf mixes science fiction with software architecture books, and if the conversation turns to spaceships, mechanical keyboards, or why that deployment failed on a Friday, I’ll stick around until the end.

I live in Europe, and this is where I want to continue building. I’ve set up my workspace in several countries across the continent, which has made me comfortable with distributed teams, time zone differences, and meetings in more than one language—and I’m fully available to work in person: moving to a different city has never been an obstacle.

What People Say About Me

I've worked alongside Felipe on several projects, and what stands out most is his ability to cut through complexity. When a project gets tangled or a team loses direction, he's the one who reframes the problem so everyone knows exactly what needs to happen next. He has a rare instinct for what to keep and what to drop, which keeps things moving without sacrificing quality. Deadlines never slip on his watch. If you're looking for someone who brings clarity and consistently delivers on time, I'd recommend him without hesitation.

Architecture Case Studies

Telemetry for heavy machinery

Telemetry and automation platform for heavy machinery: embedded hardware, telemetry APIs and cloud infrastructure (Gorilla Telemetria).

C# .NET ASP.NET Core ASP.NET Razor Pages

The challenge

Heavy machinery fleets operate far from any office, on construction sites, at mining companies and in industrial plants. The data that matters — engine hours, fuel consumption, faults, position, actual equipment usage — was born locked inside each manufacturer's hardware, on proprietary buses, and only reached the manager after the problem had already cost availability.

The architecture solution

I designed the platform end to end, from silicon to cloud. In-house embedded devices with Atmega and ESP32 read the machine's CAN bus; rugged Android tablets bring the operation inside the cab; telemetry APIs receive, normalize and persist the stream; and the AWS infrastructure supports processing and hosting. I also led the modernization of the legacy systems to .NET and MAUI.

Crane control (IFM / Codesys)

Crane control systems using IFM and Codesys technology, integrated with embedded devices via CAN Bus.

Codesys IFM

The challenge

Crane control is unforgiving: the logic has to be deterministic, auditable and respond on the equipment's timescale, not the network's. At the same time, operations wanted that control talking to the telemetry platform, without turning the controller into an isolated part.

The architecture solution

IFM controllers programmed in Codesys take on the critical logic right next to the machine, and integration with the embedded devices and with the backend happens over CAN Bus. The boundary is explicit: whatever is safety and real time stays on the controller; whatever is history, indicators and visualization goes up to the cloud.

Occupational health platform

.NET applications for occupational health workflows: referrals, clinical appointments, medical reports and documents (PCMSO, PPRA/PGR).

C# .NET ASP.NET Core Razor Pages Entity Framework

The challenge

Occupational health is a regulated business: referral, clinical appointment, examination, medical report and mandatory document (PCMSO, PPRA/PGR) form a chain in which a missing link becomes legal risk. The workflow relied on paper and repeated data entry, and could not keep up with the group's growth.

The architecture solution

.NET applications covering the entire workflow — referrals, clinical appointments and digital medical reports — with automatic generation of the regulatory documents. The infrastructure runs on AWS (EC2, RDS, ECS containers, ECR registry, certificates, load balancers, Route 53, IAM and Elastic Beanstalk), under a single technical lead for architecture, deployment and maintenance.

Industrial Android tablets (VT-7 / N555)

Solutions on rugged Android tablets for field operations, integrated with the telemetry backend.

The challenge

Taking software inside a cab means dust, vibration, temperature, sunlight on the screen and connectivity that drops. An ordinary app, on an ordinary tablet, does not survive the first week in the field.

The architecture solution

Solutions built on rugged VT-7 and N555 Android tablets, integrated with the telemetry backend and with the embedded devices. The app is the operator's interface to the same platform that feeds the manager — no parallel database and no integration rework.
