A mobile application that takes occupational health services outside the clinic. It looks up referrals, records the visit, captures documents with the camera, reads QR codes and prints identification labels.
The challenge
A good part of occupational examinations does not happen at the clinic. It happens at the client's site, on a field campaign, on a construction site — where there is no computer, no desktop printer and sometimes no decent signal. Whoever is out in the field needs the same information as whoever is at the clinic: which employee was referred, which examinations they are due, and how to correctly label every sample and every document collected.
The solution
BayMax is the platform's mobile arm. It consumes the main system's API and brings to the phone the list of clinics, the pending referrals and each worker's examinations. The visit is recorded right there, capturing documents with the device's camera. Identification is done by reading a QR code, and the application prints the identification label straight from the phone — which closes the sample's traceability loop without depending on fixed infrastructure. It is built in .NET MAUI, which keeps a single codebase for Android, iOS, Windows and macOS.
Results
The application is in production, integrated with the API of the occupational health platform that serves more than 350,000 workers.
