The challenge
In GMP production, approving a step is an act with regulatory consequences: it needs an author, a timestamp, a version and an audit trail. Except that the approval happens on the shop floor, far from the desk where the system is.
The architecture solution
Proprietary web applications in .NET and Razor Pages with REST APIs for production management and compliance, and cross-platform apps in .NET MAUI to validate and approve processes where they actually happen. The same API for both, so there is a single audit trail. Infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS, ECS, ECR, IAM, Route 53 and Elastic Beanstalk).
